Sharing Warpcast Direct Cast Account Access
Anser allows you to securely share Direct Cast (DC) API access across your team members, enabling collaborative management of Farcaster conversations. This guide explains how to set up and manage Direct Cast API keys in Anser.
Setting Up Direct Cast API Keys
- Navigate to Team & Account Management in Anser
- Find the "Direct Cast API Keys" section
- Click "Add DC Key" next to your Farcaster account
- Enter your Direct Cast API key from Warpcast Developers
- Click "Save Key" to store your API key securely
Managing Connected Accounts
Once you've added your Direct Cast API key, team members can:
- View all Direct Cast conversations for connected accounts
- Read and respond to messages
- Switch between different Farcaster accounts
- Monitor conversation history
Accessing Direct Cast Conversations
After setup, team members can:
- Navigate to the "DCs" section in the sidebar
- Select the desired Farcaster account from the left panel
- View all conversations associated with that account
- Click on any conversation to see the full message history and respond
Security Considerations
- API keys are securely stored and encrypted
- Keys can be updated or revoked at any time through the Team & Account Management section
- Warpcast API keys can also be revoked from the Warpcast Developers page
